In continuing with the eConnections ZOOM Presentations, we are going to present a
series of topics that are demonstrating the best experiences and
knowledge gained by Rotary Clubs using ZOOM to stay connected with Members.

What a great success these ZOOM presentations have had in the last few weeks of 'eConnections'. If you missed any, then here is the link: https://rotaryeclub.org.au/econnections-with-dg-jane/

I would like to invite you to the next ZOOM eConnections at 6:30pm sharp on Monday 20 April.

The ZOOM meeting number is https://zoom.us/j/363885820 - so just just click on this link to join.

Congratulations to Rotary Club of Alice Springs
for inducting the first Rotarian Member during a ZOOM Meeting.

The conference in Whyalla will not proceed due to the current situation with

COVID-19, but stay tuned for further information regarding the

Member News

Happy Birthday to Leanne Clinch

Patsy Johnson has advised that Mike is in Gawler Health Service at the moment and asked to pass this news to members.  "Mike was advised by his GP to have the Covid scan on Thursday due to his high temperature and was taken from the testing clinic to Gawler Hospital, where he is being treated for pneumonia.  His test came back negative, which is a relief.  I saw him on Friday night, he is getting better slowly, and visiting is limited to one person per day, so his girls are now sharing that time, as I am now waiting for my own clearance.  Many thanks to those who have sent their regards, and best wishes to all at this difficult time."

COVID-19 Safety Glasses Project

The club was contacted through Patsy by former Indigenous Health Scholar Jasmin Taylor (pictured below) seeking our assistance to supply caps and safety glasses for use at the RAH.  Subsequently we were informed the RAH would not accept the caps but would accept safety glasses.  Mark Smeaton sourced the 100 pairs of glasses (pictured below) through Ahrens and Dave Griffiths is arranging delivery.  It is great for the club to be able to assist in this small way in the current situation.
