ROTARY YOUTH PROGRAMMES 

Rotary Youth Exchange is a 12 month program providing secondary school students with the opportunity to travel abroad, live with 3-4 host families & experience life first hand in a different country, school & social environment. Exchange students gain lifelong advantages through an expanded world view and greater appreciation of the world.  Students will be sponsored by an Australian Rotary Club and hosted by a Rotary Club abroad.  http://www.rotaryyouth9500.org.au/youth-exchange/

RYLA is an annual 7 day residential for 18 - 26 year olds sponsored by the Rotary Clubs within Rotary International District 9500 (SA/NT). RYLA is a life changing experience, it has the capacity to instil, motivate and develop future leaders in one of the most intensive leadership experiences available in South Australia.

RYPEN is an annual 3 day residential for 14-17 year olds sponsored by the Rotary Clubs within Rotary International District 9500 (SA/NT). This Rotary Youth Services program develops and empowers the youth of today. Our guest speakers and youth team leaders inspire awardees on topics like self-belief, working in teams, managing conflict, public speaking and goal setting. The event also allows networking between a diverse range of like-minded youth.  

RYDA is a series of practical and powerful workshops that aim to change the way young people think about road safety.  As part of an interactive one-day experience, students experience braking at different speeds, devise travel strategies that will work for them in the real world and get tips from road safety experts on how to protect themselves, their friends and family.  Perhaps the most impactful moments come from the personal stories of loss and survival.

The National Youth Science Forum (NYSF) is a not-for-profit organisation that runs a number of residential programs to encourage young people in their passion for science. Our programs show the wide variety of engaging, rewarding and inspiring study and career options available in science, technology and engineering fields. Our flagship program is the NYSF Year 12 Program, which runs in January each year for students about to enter year 12. https://www.nysf.edu.au/

The ConocoPhillips Science Experience is a fun 3 or 4 days of science activities for Year 9 and 10 students in 2018 program year. Each program is designed to provide students who have an interest in science with an opportunity to engage in a wide range of fascinating science activities under the guidance of scientists who love their work. https://www.scienceexperience.com.au/
