Pres Kathy Heinrich

Pres Kathy officially opened meeting 3135 and reminded members that committee meeting would be held instead of guest speaker and that Board would meet straight after as per new trial agreement.
Kathy then called for members and director spots.
Almoner Mike Williams  reported Eldercare have 2 new ex Rotarians joining the list of Rotarians already there. Jesse and Dean Simms moved in over the last few weeks.
PP  Treasurer Kim Potger Reminded members about the wine order from last week with profits going to Rotary Health.
PP Mark Smeaton
Mark asked members to think about the Christmas Cake orders (flyer sent out via email) he already had some interest but need to fill the orders. Mark updated members with the Black Op project. He said that sadly after having soil tests done on the land they came back as showing the ground conditions are unsuitable to build on. Tony Piccolo has been approached and there is a suitable block of land opposite the Rotary Shed which might be a possibility. Tony is looking further into this to see if they can obtain a 99 yea peppercorn lease. Alternatively, Mark is working with engineers to see if the land can be reclaimed however this is going to be very costly. He is hopeful to have an answer at the end of November.
PP Steve Barilla
Steve reminded everyone that we need to meet at 6am to erect shelters etc. A group will meet at the shed at 5:15am to tow the trailers which will be loaded on Friday afternoon. The day looks like a good one weatherwise.
Mark officially closed Meeting 3133 following the Four Way Test. A quick run through to make sure nothing is forgotten and so everyone knows what they will be doing. Steve also reminded everyone that we are always short of people in the afternoon so if you leave after setting up if you can possibly come back to help it will be most appreciated. He understands that some people have other commitments but the more people there are the quicker we  all get away.

Following a very short break Pres Kathy introduced Barry to do his sergeants session. This week’s wheel spin winners were Colin Bazeley and Mark Smeaton who both won chocolates.
Barry was once again able to present a Bunyip roundup with some good coverage this week. He then showed photos and quick recount of his trip away with fellow Rotarians, John Lyons, John Bolton and Friend John Mathews.
Following The Sergeants Session Pres Kathy gave her wrap up and reiterated the need for everyone who can possibly help to be there on Saturday as this is our major event. A reminder to RSVP directly to the CFS Air operations for the sponsor day Sunday 27th November; the upcoming AGM where we will be looking for a President elect nominee and at least one board member. 2 more fundraising opportunities for us on the 3rd December at Gawler swimming pool and %th December at Bunnings. We need to utilise the doughnut machine better so will look at some training on how to make doughnuts.
Kathy then officially closed meeting 3135 after the Four Way test, so committees could have their meetings.
