Maidenhead Bridge Rotary
Membership Director Brian has provided the following material from a friend.
When I was last talking to my mate Al in England, he mentioned the innovative Maidenhead Bridge Rotary Club.
Maidenhead Bridge Rotary (https://www.maidenheadbridgerotary.org.uk/) was formed in 2012, aiming to provide professionals aged 30+ with an opportunity to get involved in local and international community projects and meet like-minded people in the local area. Hands-on volunteering, fundraising, challenge events, sharing our professional skills to help local charities develop – these are just some of the activities we get involved in – as well as having fun while we’re doing it!
We know most people are busy so we meet over coffee on 1st and 3rd Sunday each month at 10.30 a.m. to plan projects, hear from inspiring speakers and have a catch up with friends. Some of our members who have young children bring them along too, so no need to worry about childcare.
The Rotary world is changing and many innovative ideas are emerging from all parts of the globe.
Why could Rotary Gawler not find a way to involve more members of our community to join us in our dedication to make a difference?
