5th January 2020 - Meeting 3024 - The Annual Bowls Night

Bob Hinderwell acted as Chair for the night. Some fellowship and a lovely meal prepared by the Gawler Bowls Club was enjoyed by members and guests.  Sergeant Barry was present but decided to take the week off and unfortunately all those drawn in the raffle were not present, so the money was returned to the kitty.  Fines were directed to Bushfire Relief.  Following dinner some of the hardy enjoyed a few ends of bowls.  There were some serious competitors present , but most participants enjoyed a fun, friendly game.  Unlike many years the weather was mild and perfect for bowls.
