Meeting Report 3169 July 31st 2023

Club president John Lyons introduced the chair for the evening- Alan Harris. Angela welcomed members and guests, Gayle Joyce and Casey Charman then acknowledged the apologies before calling on Rotarians who wished to address the meeting.
Beth Hudman -organising an informal coffee morning at the Poetic Justice Café- this will be once a month and everyone welcome for some good old Gawler Rotary Fellowship. Fist one this Wednesday.
PP Brian Burt- Reminder the Hope Cup dinner is on once again. It is being held at the Gawler Jockey Club on the 25th August Darren Lehman is the guest speaker and tickets are $100 per pp.
After dinner PP and Chair Alan Harris conducted the wheel spin with the winning numbers going to Harrison Clinch, Mike Williams and Alan Harris.
Chair Alan then introduced our president to close the meeting and invite directors to organise their committees for the first meetings of the new Rotary year. He invited members to remain in the same committee as last year or try a new one this year but to ensure that each committee were fairly supported.
John then closed meeting 3169 with the Four Way Test and members moved to Committees. Following the meeting new Board then met for their first meeting.
