Meeting Report Zoom Meeting #2
Attendees at Rotary Club of Gawler Zoom Meeting #1, 19th April 2020
24 people including Rotarians, Sara our Youth Exchange Student, and Honorary Rotarian John Ward joined in for the second club Zoom meeting. Also a special appearance for former YEP student Ava Koenzen from Germany who reported that she has been at home for the past 8 weeks as the schools are closed but otherwise she is well. It was lovely to catch up with Ava and she is keen to join our Zoom meetings in future. Marj and Bob got the video working this week and it was great to see them both. Sargeant Barry ran a sargeant's session which included the Bunyip Round up. All members were very pleased to see the Bunyip back and that our Club has a good representation in it. A online rendition of happy birthday occurred to recognise birthdays of Kevin Clarke and Jacqui Atyeo and a round the room session to catch up with everyone. Julie Tekell is off to warmer climates and will join us as long as there is internet to do so. President Steve spoke about recent happenings including the Safety Glasses project and request from UCare for our support.
