PP Leanne Clinch provided the toast for the evening and Grace was given by Pres Kathy. Chair for the evening was PP Steve Barilla.
PP Steve opened meeting 3125 and welcomed members and guest speaker Euen Miller.
After his welcome Steve called for volunteers to assist with Gawler Show Parking. He asked for at least 12 volunteers who collected names from a show of hands. We are still needing a couple, so anyone who has had a change of availability or was absent please let Steve know- Remember, many hand make light work!!
There being no other members requiring spots, everyone was free to enjoy some fellowship over dinner.
Sergeant Barry called for the wheel spin and this week’s lucky winners were Guest speaker Euen and new member Beth who both received chocolates. He then gave another entertaining session with Facebook funnies, Birthdays, including leading a hearty Happy birthday singing session to Stan, and announcing the recent marriage of PP Brian Burt's granddaughter Briony to member Angela Moore’s Son Tim. PP Brian highlighted the Bunyip article on SIDS. Brian and Ian Sanders also visited the SAHMRI building on Sunday and had a tour of the facilities.
After a short break Steve introduced Euen Miller. Euen is a Rotary member of the Prospect Rotary club and has been a Rotarian for over 40 years.
